Patricia van Lubeck Nederlands
In 1990 Patricia van Lubeck bought her first tubes of oilpaint and a simple
book 'How to paint'. With no formal art education Patricia's ability comes simply from natural talent. Her images are a cross between reality
and surrealism, with inspiration coming from that small border between sleep and awareness. The famous Dutch painter Willink defined 'magic realism'
as; "an image that theoretically is possible, but in practice
improbable." Patricia's paintings belong to that style, but do not
compare with the mostly gloomy paintings of the magic realists.
These paintings are becoming increasingly popular, and Patricia van Lubeck now has her own gallery with a selection of works for sale.
